Psalms 7
Louis Segond 1910 · Berean Standard Bible
Complainte de David. Chantée à l’Éternel, au sujet de Cusch, Benjamite.
A Shiggaion (note: Shiggaion is probably a musical or liturgical term.) of David, which he sang to the LORD concerning the words of Cush, a Benjamite. O LORD my God, I take refuge in You; save me and deliver me from all my pursuers,
Éternel, mon Dieu! Je cherche en toi mon refuge;
or they will shred my soul like a lion and tear me to pieces with no one to rescue me.
Afin qu’ils ne me déchirent pas, comme un lion
O LORD my God, if I have done this, if injustice is on my hands,
Éternel, mon Dieu! Si j’ai fait cela,
if I have rewarded my ally (note: Hebrew the one at peace with me) with evil, if I have plundered my foe without cause,
Si j’ai rendu le mal à celui qui était paisible envers moi,
then may my enemy pursue me and overtake me; may he trample me to the ground and leave my honor in the dust. Selah
Que l’ennemi me poursuive et m’atteigne,
Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; rise up against the fury of my enemies. Awake, my God, and ordain judgment.
Lève-toi, ô Éternel! Dans ta colère,
Let the assembled peoples gather around You; take Your seat over them on high.
Que l’assemblée des peuples t’environne!
The LORD judges the peoples; vindicate me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and integrity.
L’Éternel juge les peuples:
Put an end to the evil of the wicked, but establish the righteous, O righteous God who searches hearts and minds (note: Hebrew hearts and kidneys).
Dieu est un juste juge,
If one does not repent, God will sharpen His sword; He has bent and strung His bow.
Si le méchant ne se convertit pas, il aiguise son glaive,
He has prepared His deadly weapons; He ordains His arrows with fire.
Il dirige sur lui des traits meurtriers,
Behold, the wicked man travails with evil; he conceives trouble and births falsehood.
Voici, le méchant prépare le mal,
He has dug a hole and hollowed it out; he has fallen into a pit of his own making.
Il ouvre une fosse, il la creuse,
His trouble recoils on himself, and his violence falls on his own head.
Son iniquité retombe sur sa tête,
I will thank the LORD for His righteousness and sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
