Psalms 6

Louis Segond 1910 · Berean Standard Bible

6:1
Au chef des chantres. Avec instruments à cordes. Sur la harpe à huit cordes. Psaume de David.
For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments, according to Sheminith (note: Sheminith is probably a musical term; here and in 1 Chronicles 15:21 and Psalm 12:1.). A Psalm of David. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger or discipline me in Your wrath.
6:2
Éternel! ne me punis pas dans ta colère,
Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am frail; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are in agony.
6:3
Aie pitié de moi, Éternel! Car je suis sans force;
My soul is deeply distressed. How long, O LORD, how long?
6:4
Mon âme est toute troublée;
Turn, O LORD, and deliver my soul; save me because of Your loving devotion.
6:5
Reviens, Éternel! Délivre mon âme;
For there is no mention of You in death; who can praise You from Sheol?
6:6
Car celui qui meurt n’a plus ton souvenir;
I am weary from groaning; all night I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.
6:7
Je m’épuise à force de gémir;
My eyes fail from grief; they grow dim because of all my foes.
6:8
J’ai le visage usé par le chagrin;
Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the LORD has heard my weeping.
6:9
Éloignez-vous de moi, vous tous qui faites le mal!
The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer.
L’Éternel exauce mes supplications,
All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace.
