Psalms 122

Clementine Vulgate · Berean Standard Bible

Canticum graduum. Ad te levavi oculos meos, qui habitas in cælis.
A song of ascents. Of David. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
Ecce sicut oculi servorum in manibus dominorum suorum ; sicut oculi ancillæ in manibus dominæ suæ : ita oculi nostri ad Dominum Deum nostrum, donec misereatur nostri.
Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.
Miserere nostri, Domine, miserere nostri, quia multum repleti sumus despectione ;
Jerusalem is built up as a city united together,
quia multum repleta est anima nostra opprobrium abundantibus, et despectio superbis.
where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.
