A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
Mon secours viendra de Yahweh, qui a fait le ciel et la terre.
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Il ne permettra pas que ton pied trébuche ; celui qui te garde ne sommeillera pas.
He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber.
Non, il ne sommeille ni ne dort, celui qui garde Israël.
Behold, the Protector of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
Yahweh est ton gardien ; Yahweh est ton abri, toujours à ta droite.
The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is the shade on your right hand.
Pendant le jour le soleil ne te frappera point, ni la lune pendant la nuit.
The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
Yahweh te gardera de tout mal, il gardera ton âme :
The LORD will guard you from all evil; He will preserve your soul.
