Ein Psalm Davids. Der HErr sprach zu meinem Herrn: „Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich deine Feinde zum Schemel deiner Füße lege.”
A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet (note: Cited in Matthew 22:44, Mark 12:36, Luke 20:42–43, Acts 2:34–35, and Hebrews 1:13).”
Der HErr wird das Zepter deines Reiches senden aus Zion: „Herrsche unter deinen Feinden!”
The LORD extends Your mighty scepter from Zion: “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
Nach deinem Sieg wird dir dein Volk willig opfern in heiligem Schmuck. Deine Kinder werden dir geboren wie der Tau aus der Morgenröte.
Your people shall be willing on Your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, to You belongs the dew of Your youth.
Der HErr hat geschworen, und es wird ihn nicht gereuen: „Du bist ein Priester ewiglich nach der Weise Melchisedeks.”
The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek (note: Cited in Hebrews 5:6, Hebrews 7:17, and Hebrews 7:21).”
Der HErr zu deiner Rechten wird zerschmettern die Könige am Tage seines Zorns;
The Lord is at Your right hand; He will crush kings in the day of His wrath.
er wird richten unter den Heiden; er wird ein großes Schlagen unter ihnen tun; er wird zerschmettern das Haupt über große Lande.
He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead; He will crush the leaders far and wide.
Er wird trinken vom Bach auf dem Wege; darum wird er das Haupt emporheben.
He will drink from the brook by the road; therefore He will lift up His head.
