Psaume de David Je veux chanter la bonté et la justice ; C'est toi, Yahweh, que je veux célébrer.
A Psalm of David. I will sing of Your loving devotion and justice; to You, O LORD, I will sing praises.
Je prendrai garde à la voie de l'innocence. — Quand viendras-tu à moi ? — Je marcherai dans l'intégrité de mon cœur, au milieu de ma maison.
I will ponder the way that is blameless—when will You come to me? I will walk in my house with integrity of heart.
Je ne mettrai devant mes yeux aucune action mauvaise. Je hais la conduite perverse ; elle ne s'attachera point à moi.
I will set no worthless thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.
Un cœur faux ne sera jamais le mien ; je ne veux pas connaître le mal.
A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know nothing of evil.
Le détracteur qui déchire en secret son prochain, je l'exterminerai ; L'homme au regard hautain et au cœur gonflé d'orgueil, je ne le supporterai pas.
Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; the one with haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not endure.
J'aurai les yeux sur les hommes fidèles du pays, pour qu'ils demeurent auprès de moi ; celui qui marche dans une voie intègre sera mon serviteur.
My eyes favor the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way of integrity shall minister to me.
Il n'aura point de place dans ma maison, celui qui agit avec fourberie ; celui qui profère le mensonge ne subsistera pas devant mes yeux.
No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who tells lies shall stand in my presence.
Chaque matin j'exterminerai tous les méchants du pays, afin de retrancher de la cité de Yahweh tous ceux qui commettent l'iniquité.
Every morning I will remove all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.
