Καὶ οὖτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Δαυεὶδ οἱ τεχθέντες αὐτῷ ἐν Χεβρών· ὁ πρωτότοκος Ἀμνὼν τῇ Ἀχεινάαμ τῇ Ἰσραηλείτιδι, ὁ δεύτερος Δαμνιὴλ τῆ Ἀβειγαίᾳ τῇ Καρμηλίᾳ,
These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;
ὁ τρίτος Ἀβεσσαλὼμ υἱὸς Μωχὰ θυγατρὸς Θοαμαὶ βασιλέως Γεδσούρ, ὁ τέταρτος Ἀδωνειὰ υἱὸς Ἁγγείθ,
the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;
ὁ πέμπτος Σαβατειὰ τῆς Σαβειτάλ, ὁ ἕκτος Ἰθαρὰμ τῇ Ἀλα γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ.
the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.
ἓξ ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτῷ ἐν Χεβρών. καὶ τριάκοντα καὶ τρία ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ.
These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
καὶ οὗτοι ἐτέχθησαν αὐτῷ ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ· Σάμον, Σωβάν, Ναθὰν καὶ Σαλωμών, τέσσαρες τῇ Βηρσάβεε θυγατρὶ Ἀμιήλ,
and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea (note: Shimea is a variant of Shammua; see 2 Samuel 5:14 and 1 Chronicles 14:4.), Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba (note: One Hebrew manuscript and Vulgate (see also LXX and 2 Samuel 11:3); most Hebrew manuscripts Bath-shua) daughter of Ammiel (note: Ammiel is a variant of Eliam; see 2 Samuel 11:3.).
καὶ Βαὰρ καὶ Ἐλεισὰ καὶ Ἐλειφαλὴθ
David’s other sons were Ibhar, Elishua (note: Two Hebrew manuscripts (see also 2 Samuel 5:15 and 1 Chronicles 14:5); most Hebrew manuscripts Elishama), Eliphelet,
πάντες υἱοὶ Δαυείδ, πλὴν τῶν υἱῶν τῶν παλλακῶν· καὶ Θημὰρ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν.
These were all the sons of David, besides the sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.
Υἱοὶ Σαλωμών· Ῥοβοάμ, Ἀβειὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀσὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἰωσαφὰτ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
Ἰωρὰμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Οζειὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἰωὰς υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
Joram (note: Joram is a variant spelling of Jehoram.) his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
Ἀμασίας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀζαριὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἰωαθὰν υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
Amaziah his son, Azariah (note: Azariah is also called Uzziah; see 2 Chronicles 26:1.) his son, Jotham his son,
Ἀχὰς υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἐζεκίας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Μανασσῆς υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰωσειά· πρωτότοκος Ἰωανάν, ὁ δεύτερος Ἰωακείμ, ὁ τρίτος Σεδεκιά, ὁ τέταρτος Σαλούμ.
The sons of Josiah: Johanan was the firstborn, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum (note: Shallum is another name for Jehoahaz.) the fourth.
καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰωακείμ· Ἰεχονίας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σεδεκίας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.
The successors of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah (note: Jeconiah is a variant of Jehoiachin; also in verse 17; see 2 Kings 24:6.) his son, and Zedekiah.
καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰεχονία· Ἀσείρ, Σαλαθιὴλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
Μελχειρὰμ καὶ Φαλδαίας καὶ Σανεσὰρ καὶ Ἰεκενιὰ καὶ Ὡσαμὼθ καὶ Δενεθεί.
Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
καὶ υἱοὶ Σαλαθήλ· Ζοροβάβελ· Μοσολόαμος καὶ Ἁναναιά, καὶ Σαλωμεθεὶ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν,
The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The children of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, their sister Shelomith,
καὶ Ἁσουβὲ καὶ Ὀσὰ καὶ Βαραχιαὶ καὶ Ἀσαδιὰ καὶ Ἀροβάσοκ, πέντε.
and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.
καὶ υἱοὶ Ἁνανιά, Φαλλετί, καὶ Ἰσαβὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ῥαφὰλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ὀρνὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀβδειὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σεχενιὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.
The descendants of Hananiah: Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah, and of Shecaniah.
καὶ υἱὸς Σεχενιά· Σαμαιά. καὶ υἱὸς Σαμαιά· Χόττούς, καὶ Ἰωήλ καὶ Μαρεὶ καὶ Νωαδειὰ καὶ Σαφάθ, ἕξ.
The six descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
καὶ υἱρὶ Νωαδειά· Ἐλειθανὰ καὶ Ἐζεκιὰ καὶ Ἐζρεικάν, τρεῖς.
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.
καὶ υἱοὶ Ἐλειθενάν· ¹Οδολιὰ καὶ Ἀσεὶβ καὶ Φορὰ καὶ Ἰακοὺν καὶ Ἰωανάν καὶ Δαλααιὰ καὶ Μανεί, ἑπτά.
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.
