οὐκ ἐξ ἔργων τῶν ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ, ἃ ἐποιήσαμεν ἡμεῖς, ἀλλὰ κατὰ τὸ αὐτοῦ ἔλεος, ἔσωσεν ἡμᾶς, διὰ λουτροῦ παλιγγενεσίας καὶ ἀνακαινώσεως ˚Πνεύματος Ἁγίου,
He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth (note: Or of regeneration) and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
