Ἄρα οὖν οὐ τοῦ θέλοντος, οὐδὲ τοῦ τρέχοντος, ἀλλὰ τοῦ ἐλεῶντος ˚Θεοῦ.
So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.
