Καθὼς γέγραπται ὅτι Ἕνεκέν σου θανατούμεθα ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν· ἐλογίσθημεν ὡς πρόβατα σφαγῆς.
As it is written: “For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered (note: Psalm 44:22).”
