Τῇ γὰρ ἐλπίδι ἐσώθημεν· ἐλπὶς δὲ βλεπομένη, οὐκ ἔστιν ἐλπίς, ὃ γὰρ βλέπει τις, ἐλπίζει;
For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see?
