Συνίστησιν δὲ τὴν ἑαυτοῦ ἀγάπην εἰς ἡμᾶς ὁ ˚Θεὸς, ὅτι ἔτι ἁμαρτωλῶν ὄντων ἡμῶν, ˚Χριστὸς ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἀπέθανεν.
But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
