Therefore as by the offence of one (note: Or, by one offence) judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (note: Or, by one righteousness) the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
So then, just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brought justification and life for all men.
