μὴ κατακαυχῶ τῶν κλάδων. Εἰ δὲ κατακαυχᾶσαι, οὐ σὺ τὴν ῥίζαν βαστάζεις, ἀλλʼ ἡ ῥίζα σέ.
do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.
