Clementine Vulgate · Berean Standard Bible

Canticum Psalmi, filiis Core, in finem, pro Maheleth ad respondendum. Intellectus Eman Ezrahitæ.
A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A song. He has founded His city on the holy mountains (note: Literally His foundation is on the holy mountains).
Domine, Deus salutis meæ, in die clamavi et nocte coram te.
The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Intret in conspectu tuo oratio mea, inclina aurem tuam ad precem meam.
Glorious things are ascribed to you, O city of God. Selah
Quia repleta est malis anima mea, et vita mea inferno appropinquavit.
“I will mention Rahab (note: Rahab is a poetic name for Egypt.) and Babylon among those who know Me—along with Philistia, Tyre, and Cush (note: That is, the upper Nile region)—when I say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”
Æstimatus sum cum descendentibus in lacum, factus sum sicut homo sine adjutorio,
And it will be said of Zion: “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High Himself will establish her.”
inter mortuos liber ; sicut vulnerati dormientes in sepulchris, quorum non es memor amplius, et ipsi de manu tua repulsi sunt.
The LORD will record in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.” Selah
Posuerunt me in lacu inferiori, in tenebrosis, et in umbra mortis.
Singers and pipers will proclaim, “All my springs of joy are in You.”
