Der HERR liebt die Tore Zions über alle Wohnungen Jakobs.
The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Herrliche Dinge werden in dir gepredigt, du Stadt Gottes. (Sela.)
Glorious things are ascribed to you, O city of God. Selah
Ich will predigen lassen Rahab und Babel, dass sie mich kennen sollen. Siehe, die Philister und Tyrer samt den Mohren werden daselbst geboren.
“I will mention Rahab (note: Rahab is a poetic name for Egypt.) and Babylon among those who know Me—along with Philistia, Tyre, and Cush (note: That is, the upper Nile region)—when I say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”
Man wird zu Zion sagen, dass allerlei Leute darin geboren werden und dass er, der Höchste, sie baue.
And it will be said of Zion: “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High Himself will establish her.”
Der HERR wird zählen, wenn er aufschreibt die Völker: „Diese sind daselbst geboren.” (Sela.)

Singers and pipers will proclaim, “All my springs of joy are in You.”
