Parallel

Psalms 57

Louis Segond 1910 · Berean Standard Bible

Au chef des chantres. “Ne détruis pas.” Hymne de David. Lorsqu’il se réfugia dans la caverne, poursuivi par Saül.
For the choirmaster. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A Miktam (note: Miktam is probably a musical or liturgical term; used for Psalms 16 and 56–60.) of David, when he fled from Saul into the cave. Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy, for in You my soul takes refuge. In the shadow of Your wings I will take shelter until the danger has passed.
Aie pitié de moi, ô Dieu, aie pitié de moi!
I cry out to God Most High (note: Hebrew Elohim-Elyon), to God who fulfills His purpose for me.
Je crie au Dieu Très-Haut,
He reaches down from heaven and saves me; He rebukes those who trample me. Selah God sends forth His loving devotion and His truth.
Il m’enverra du ciel le salut,
My soul is among the lions; I lie down with ravenous beasts—with men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.
Mon âme est parmi des lions;
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; may Your glory cover all the earth.
Élève-toi sur les cieux, ô Dieu!
They spread a net for my feet; my soul was despondent. They dug a pit before me, but they themselves have fallen into it! Selah
Ils avaient tendu un filet sous mes pas:
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing and make music.
Mon cœur est affermi, ô Dieu! Mon cœur est affermi;
Awake, my glory (note: Or Awake, my soul!)! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
Réveille-toi, mon âme! Réveillez-vous, mon luth et ma harpe!
I will praise You, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing Your praises among the peoples.
Je te louerai parmi les peuples, Seigneur!
For Your loving devotion reaches to the heavens, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.
Car ta bonté atteint jusqu’aux cieux,
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; may Your glory cover all the earth.
