53:1
Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ἐν ὕμνοις· συνέσεως τῷ Δαυείδ,
54:1 For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Maskil (note: Maskil is probably a musical or liturgical term; used for Psalms 32, 42, 44–45, 52–55, 74, 78, 88–89, and 142.) of David. When the Ziphites went to Saul and said, “Is David not hiding among us?” Save me, O God, by Your name, and vindicate me by Your might!
53:2
ἐν τῷ ἐλθεῖν τοὺς Ζειφαίους· καὶ εἶπεν τῷ Σαούλ Οὐκ ἰδοὺ Δαυεὶδ κέκρυπται παρʼ ἡμῖν;
54:2 Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.
53:3
Ὁ θεός, ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου σῶσόν με, καὶ ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου κρῖνόν με.

53:4
ὁ θεός, εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου, ἐνώτισαι τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματός μου.
54:2 Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth. 54:4 Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.
53:5
ὅτι ἀλλότριοι ἐπανέστησαν ἐπʼ ἐμέ, καὶ κραταιοὶ ἐζήτησαν τὴν ψυχὴν μου· οὐ προέθεντο τὸν θεὸν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν. διάφαλμα.
54:3 For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life—men with no regard for God. Selah 54:5 He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them.
53:6
ἰδοὺ γὰρ ὁ θεὸς βοηθεῖ μοι. καὶ ὁ κύριος ἀντιλήμπτωρ τῆς ψυχῆς μου.
54:4 Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul. 54:6 Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.
53:7
ἀποστρέψει τὰ κακὰ τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου· ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου ἐξολόθρευσον αὐτούς.
54:5 He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them. 54:7 For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.
53:8
ἑκουσίως θύσω σοι, ἐξομολογήσομαι τῷ ὀνόματί σου, ὅτι ἀγαθόν·
54:6 Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.
53:9
ὅτι ἐκ πάσης θλίψεως ἐρύσω με. καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου ἐπεῖδεν ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου.
54:7 For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.
