But You have crushed us in the lair of jackals (note: Or serpents or dragons); You have covered us with deepest darkness.
כִּ֣י דִ֭כִּיתָנוּ בִּמְק֣וֹם תַּנִּ֑ים וַתְּכַ֖ס עָלֵ֣ינוּ בְצַלְמָֽוֶת׃
