A Psalm. A song for the dedication of the temple. Of David. I will exalt You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up and have not allowed my foes to rejoice over me.
Je t'exalte, Yahweh, car tu m'as relevé, tu n'as pas réjoui mes ennemis à mon sujet.
O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
Yahweh, mon Dieu, j'ai crié vers toi, et tu m'as guéri.
O LORD, You pulled me up from Sheol; You spared me from descending into the Pit.
Yahweh, tu as fait remonter mon âme du schéol, tu m'as rendu la vie, loin de ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
Sing to the LORD, O you His saints, and praise His holy name (note: Or and praise the memorial of His holiness; see Exodus 3:15.).

For His anger is fleeting, but His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may stay the night, but joy comes in the morning.

In prosperity I said, “I will never be shaken.”

O LORD, You favored me; You made my mountain stand strong. When You hid Your face, I was dismayed.
Yahweh, par ta grâce, tu avais affermi ma montagne ; — tu as caché ta face, et j'ai été troublé.
To You, O LORD, I called, and I begged my Lord for mercy:
Yahweh, j'ai crié vers toi, j'ai imploré Yahweh :
“What gain is there in my bloodshed (note: Or in my destruction), in my descent to the Pit (note: Or to corruption)? Will the dust praise You? Will it proclaim Your faithfulness?
" Que gagnes-tu à verser mon sang ; à me faire descendre dans la fosse ? La poussière chantera-t-elle tes louanges, annoncera-t-elle ta vérité ?
Hear me, O LORD, and have mercy; O LORD, be my helper.”
Ecoute, Yahweh, sois-moi propice ; Yahweh, viens à mon secours ! " —
You turned my mourning into dancing; You peeled off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
Et tu as changé mes lamentations en allégresse, tu as délié mon sac et tu m'as ceint de joie,
that my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks forever.
