2:1

Pourquoi les nations s'agitent-elles en tumulte et les peuples méditent-ils de vains projets ?

Why do the nations and the peoples plot in vain?

2:2

Les rois de la terre se soulèvent, et les princes tiennent conseil ensemble, contre Yahweh et contre son Oint.

The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against :

2:3

" Brisons leurs liens, disent-ils, et jetons loin de nous leurs chaînes ! "

“Let us break Their chains and cast away Their cords.”

2:4

Celui qui est assis dans les cieux sourit, le Seigneur se moque d'eux.

The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord taunts them.

2:5

Alors il leur parlera dans sa colère, et dans sa fureur il les épouvantera :

Then He rebukes them in His anger, and terrifies them in His fury:

2:6

" Et moi, j'ai établi mon roi, sur Sion, ma montagne sainte. "

“I have installed My King on Zion, upon My holy mountain.”

Demande, et je te donnerai les nations pour héritage, pour domaine les extrémités de la terre.

Ask Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance, the ends of the earth Your possession.

2:9

Tu les briseras avec un sceptre de fer, tu les mettras en pièces comme le vase du potier. "

Therefore be wise, O kings; be admonished, O judges of the earth.

2:11

Servez Yahweh avec crainte, tressaillez de joie avec tremblement.

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

2:12
