Parallel
Psalms 16
Louis Segond 1910 · Berean Standard Bible
Hymne de David.
A Miktam (note: Miktam is probably a musical or liturgical term; used for Psalm 16 and Psalms 56–60.) of David. Preserve me, O God, for in You I take refuge.
Je dis à l’Éternel: Tu es mon Seigneur,
I said to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from You I have no good thing.”
Les saints qui sont dans le pays,
As for the saints in the land, they are the excellence in whom all my delight resides.
On multiplie les idoles, on court après les dieux étrangers:
Sorrows will multiply to those who chase other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood, or speak their names with my lips.
L’Éternel est mon partage et mon calice;
The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure.
Un héritage délicieux m’est échu,
The lines of my boundary have fallen in pleasant places; surely my inheritance is delightful.
Je bénis l’Éternel, mon conseiller;
I will bless the LORD who counsels me; even at night my conscience instructs me (note: Or my heart instructs me; Hebrew my kidneys instruct me).
J’ai constamment l’Éternel sous mes yeux;
I have set (note: LXX I foresaw) the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Aussi mon cœur est dans la joie, mon esprit dans l’allégresse,
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell securely (note: LXX will dwell in hope).
Car tu ne livreras pas mon âme au séjour des morts,
For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay (note: Cited in Acts 13:35).
Tu me feras connaître le sentier de la vie;
You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.
