Louez l’Éternel!
Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places (note: See Matthew 21:9, Mark 11:10, and Luke 19:38.).
148:2
Louez-le, vous tous ses anges!
Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.
148:3
Louez-le, soleil et lune!
Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.
148:4
Louez-le, cieux des cieux,
Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies.
148:5
Qu’ils louent le nom de l’Éternel!
Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.
148:6
Il les a affermis pour toujours et à perpétuité;
He established them forever and ever; He issued a decree that will never pass away.
148:7
Louez l’Éternel du bas de la terre,
Praise the LORD from the earth, all great sea creatures and ocean depths,
148:8
Feu et grêle, neige et brouillards,
lightning and hail, snow and clouds, powerful wind fulfilling His word,
148:9
Montagnes et toutes les collines,
mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
148:10
Animaux et tout le bétail,
wild animals and all cattle, crawling creatures and flying birds,
148:11
Rois de la terre et tous les peuples,
kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth,
148:12
Jeunes hommes et jeunes filles,
young men and maidens, old and young together.
148:13
Qu’ils louent le nom de l’Éternel!
Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
148:14
Il a relevé la force de son peuple:
He has raised up a horn for His people, the praise of all His saints, of Israel, a people near to Him. Hallelujah!
