Parallel
Psalms 147
Clementine Vulgate · Berean Standard Bible
Alleluja. Lauda, Jerusalem, Dominum ; lauda Deum tuum, Sion.
Hallelujah! How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and lovely to praise Him!
Quoniam confortavit seras portarum tuarum ; benedixit filiis tuis in te.
The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the exiles of Israel.
Qui posuit fines tuos pacem, et adipe frumenti satiat te.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Qui emittit eloquium suum terræ : velociter currit sermo ejus.
He determines the number of the stars; He calls them each by name.
Qui dat nivem sicut lanam ; nebulam sicut cinerem spargit.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.
Mittit crystallum suam sicut buccellas : ante faciem frigoris ejus quis sustinebit ?
The LORD sustains the humble, but casts the wicked to the ground.
Emittet verbum suum, et liquefaciet ea ; flabit spiritus ejus, et fluent aquæ.
Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music on the harp to our God,
Qui annuntiat verbum suum Jacob, justitias et judicia sua Israël.
who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the hills.
Non fecit taliter omni nationi, et judicia sua non manifestavit eis. Alleluja.
He provides food for the animals, and for the young ravens when they call.
