Psalms 145

Clementine Vulgate · Berean Standard Bible

Alleluja, Aggæi et Zachariæ.
A Psalm of praise. Of David (note: This psalm is an acrostic poem, each verse beginning with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.). I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Lauda, anima mea, Dominum. Laudabo Dominum in vita mea ; psallam Deo meo quamdiu fuero. Nolite confidere in principibus,
Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever.
in filiis hominum, in quibus non est salus.
Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.
Exibit spiritus ejus, et revertetur in terram suam ; in illa die peribunt omnes cogitationes eorum.
One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts—
Beatus cujus Deus Jacob adjutor ejus, spes ejus in Domino Deo ipsius :
the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works.
qui fecit cælum et terram, mare, et omnia quæ in eis sunt.
They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.
Qui custodit veritatem in sæculum ; facit judicium injuriam patientibus ; dat escam esurientibus. Dominus solvit compeditos ;
They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness.
Dominus illuminat cæcos. Dominus erigit elisos ; Dominus diligit justos.
The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.
Dominus custodit advenas, pupillum et viduam suscipiet, et vias peccatorum disperdet.
The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.
Regnabit Dominus in sæcula ; Deus tuus, Sion, in generationem et generationem.
All You have made will give You thanks, O LORD, and Your saints will bless You.
