Ἐπίστευσα, διὸ ἐλάλησα· ἐγὼ δὲ ἐταπεινώθην σφόδρα.
116:10
I believed, therefore I said (note: LXX therefore I have spoken; cited in 2 Corinthians 4:13), “I am greatly afflicted.”
ἐγὼ εἶπα ἐν τῇ ἐκστάσει μου Πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ψεύστης.
116:11
In my alarm I said, “All men are liars!”
τί ἀνταποδώσω τῷ κυρίῳ περὶ ὧν ἀνταπέδωκέν μοι;
116:12
How can I repay the LORD for all His goodness to me?
ποτήριον σωτηρίου λήμψομαι, καὶ τὸ ὄνομα Κυρίου ἐπικαλέσομαι.
116:13
I will lift the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.
ὦ Κύριε. ἐγὼ δοῦλος σός. ἐγὼ δοῦλος σὸς καὶ υἱὸς τῆς παιδίσκης σου· διέρρηξας τοὺς δεσμούς μου.
116:16
Truly, O LORD, I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have broken my bonds.
σοὶ θύσω θυσίαν αἰνέσεως·
116:17
I will offer to You a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD.
τὰς εὐχάς μου ἀποδώσω τῷ κυρίῳ ἐναντίον παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ,
116:18
I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all His people,
ἐν αὐλαῖς οἴκου Κυρίου, ἐν μέσῳ σου, Ἰερουσαλήμ.
116:19
in the courts of the LORD’s house, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
τίμιος ἐναντίον Κυρίου ὁ θάυατος τῶν ὁσίων αὐτοῦ.
They have mouths, but cannot speak; they have eyes, but cannot see;
