ποίει, υἱέ, ἃ ἐγὼ σοι ἐντέλλομαι, καὶ σώζου· ἥκεις γὰρ εἰς χεῖρας κακῶν διὰ σὸν φίλον· ἴσθι μὴ ἐκλυόμενος, παρόξυνε δὲ καὶ τὸν φίλον σου ὃν ἐνεγυήσω.
then do this, my son, to free yourself, for you have fallen into your neighbor’s hands: Go, humble yourself (note: Or hasten), and press your plea with your neighbor.
