οἱ μὲν ἐξ ἀγάπης εἰδότες ὅτι εἰς ἀπολογίαν τοῦ εὐαγγελίου κεῖμαι
The latter do so in love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel (note: BYZ and TR reverse the order of verses 16 and 17.).
