From the Israelites’ half, which Moses had set apart from the men who had gone to war,
וּמִֽמַּחֲצִ֖ית בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אֲשֶׁר֙ חָצָ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֔ה מִן־ הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים הַצֹּבְאִֽים׃
