וַיְשַׁלַּ֨ח יְהוָ֜ה בָּעָ֗ם אֵ֚ת הַנְּחָשִׁ֣ים הַשְּׂרָפִ֔ים וַֽיְנַשְּׁכ֖וּ אֶת־ הָעָ֑ם וַיָּ֥מָת עַם־ רָ֖ב מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
