Then Moses said to Hobab, the son of Moses’ father-in-law Reuel (note: Reuel was also called Jethro; see Exodus 3:1.) the Midianite, “We are setting out for the place of which the LORD said: ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well, for the LORD has promised good things to Israel.”
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֗ה לְ֠חֹבָב בֶּן־ רְעוּאֵ֣ל הַמִּדְיָנִי֮ חֹתֵ֣ן מֹשֶׁה֒ נֹסְעִ֣ים׀ אֲנַ֗חְנוּ אֶל־ הַמָּקוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֹת֖וֹ אֶתֵּ֣ן לָכֶ֑ם לְכָ֤ה אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ וְהֵטַ֣בְנוּ לָ֔ךְ כִּֽי־ יְהוָ֥ה דִּבֶּר־ ט֖וֹב עַל־ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
