Et portam vallis ædificavit Hanun, et habitatores Zanoë : ipsi ædificaverunt eam, et statuerunt valvas ejus, et seras, et vectes, et mille cubitos in muro usque ad portam sterquilinii.
The Valley Gate was repaired by Hanun and the residents of Zanoah. They rebuilt it, installed its doors, bolts, and bars, and repaired a thousand cubits (note: 1,000 cubits is approximately 1,500 feet or 457.2 meters.) of the wall as far as the Dung Gate.
