Da aber das Saneballat, der Horoniter und Tobia, der ammonitische Knecht, und Gesem, der Araber, hörten, spotteten sie unser und verachteten uns und sprachen: Was ist das, das ihr tut? Wollt ihr von dem König abfallen?
But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard about this, they mocked us and ridiculed us, saying, “What is this you are doing? Are you rebelling against the king?”
