As soon as the people heard this law, they excluded from Israel all of foreign descent.
וַיְהִ֖י כְּשָׁמְעָ֣ם אֶת־ הַתּוֹרָ֑ה וַיַּבְדִּ֥ילוּ כָל־ עֵ֖רֶב מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
