Weh denen, die Schaden zu tun trachten und gehen mit bösen Tücken um auf ihrem Lager, dass sie es früh, wenn's licht wird, vollbringen, weil sie die Macht haben.
Woe to those who devise iniquity and plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they accomplish it because the power is in their hands.
Sie reißen Äcker an sich und nehmen Häuser, welche sie gelüstet; also treiben sie Gewalt mit eines jeden Hause und mit eines jeden Erbe.
They covet fields and seize them; they take away houses. They deprive a man of his home, a fellow man of his inheritance.
Darum spricht der HErr also: Siehe, ich gedenke über dies Geschlecht Böses, dass ihr euren Hals nicht daraus ziehen und dass ihr nicht so stolz dahergehen sollt; denn es soll eine böse Zeit sein.
Therefore this is what the LORD says: “I am planning against this nation a disaster from which you cannot free your necks. Then you will not walk so proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.
Zur selben Zeit wird man einen Spruch von euch machen und klagen: Es ist aus (wird man sagen), wir sind verstört. Meines Volkes Land wird eines fremden Herrn. Wann wird er uns die Äcker wieder zuteilen, die er uns genommen hat?
In that day they will take up a proverb against you and taunt you with this bitter lamentation: ‘We are utterly ruined! He has changed the portion of my people. How He has removed it from me! He has allotted our fields to traitors.’”
Jawohl, ihr werdet keinen Teil behalten in der Gemeinde des HErrn.
Therefore, you will have no one in the assembly of the LORD to divide the land by lot.
Predigt nicht! predigen sie, denn solche Predigt trifft uns nicht; wir werden nicht so zu Schanden werden.
“Do not preach,” they preach. “Do not preach these things; disgrace will not overtake us.”
Das Haus Jakob tröstet sich also: Meinst du, der HErr sei schnell zum Zorn? Sollte er solches tun wollen? Es ist wahr, meine Reden sind freundlich den Frommen.
Should it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is the Spirit of the LORD impatient? Are these the things He does?” Do not My words bring good to him who walks uprightly?
Aber mein Volk hat sich aufgemacht wie ein Feind, denn sie rauben beides, Rock und Mantel, denen, so sicher dahergehen, gleich wie die, so aus dem Kriege kommen.
But of late My people have risen up like an enemy: You strip off the splendid robe from unsuspecting passersby like men returning from battle.
Ihr treibt die Weiber meines Volkes aus ihren lieben Häusern und nehmt von ihren jungen Kindern meinen Schmuck auf immer.
You drive the women of My people from their pleasant homes. You take away My blessing from their children forever.
Darum macht euch auf! Ihr müsst davon, ihr sollt hier nicht bleiben; um ihrer Unreinigkeit willen müssen sie unsanft zerstört werden.
Arise and depart, for this is not your place of rest, because its defilement brings destruction—a grievous destruction!
Wenn ich ein Irrgeist wäre und ein Lügenprediger und predigte, wie sie saufen und schwelgen sollten, das wäre eine Predigt für dies Volk.
If a man of wind were to come and say falsely, “I will preach to you of wine and strong drink (note: Or “I will prophesy to you for wine and strong drink”),” he would be just the preacher for this people!
Ich will aber dich, Jakob, versammeln ganz und die übrigen in Israel zuhauf bringen; ich will sie wie Schafe miteinander in einen festen Stall tun und wie eine Herde in ihre Hürden, dass es von Menschen tönen soll.
I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will collect the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in the midst of its pasture—a noisy throng.
Es wird ein Durchbrecher vor ihnen herauffahren; sie werden durchbrechen und zum Tor ausziehen; und ihr König wird vor ihnen her gehen und der HErr vornean.
One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate, and go out by it. Their King will pass through before them, the LORD as their leader.
