Dies ist das Wort des HErrn, welches geschah zu Micha von Moreseth zur Zeit des Jotham, Ahas und Hiskia, der Könige Judas, das er gesehen hat über Samaria und Jerusalem.
This is the word of the LORD that came to Micah the Moreshite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah—what he saw regarding Samaria and Jerusalem:
Hört, alle Völker! merke auf, Land, und alles, was darinnen ist! denn Gott der HErr hat mit euch zu reden, ja, der HErr aus seinem heiligen Tempel.
Hear, O peoples, all of you; listen, O earth, and everyone in it! May the Lord GOD bear witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.
Denn siehe, der HErr wird ausgehen aus seinem Ort und herabfahren und treten auf die Höhen im Lande,
For behold, the LORD comes forth from His dwelling place; He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.
dass die Berge unter ihm schmelzen und die Täler reißend werden, gleichwie Wachs vor dem Feuer zerschmilzt, wie die Wasser, so niederwärts fließen.
The mountains will melt beneath Him, and the valleys will split apart, like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope.
Das alles um der Übertretung willen Jakobs und um der Sünden willen des Hauses Israel. Welches ist aber die Übertretung Jakobs? Ist's nicht Samaria? Welches sind aber die Höhen Judas? Ist's nicht Jerusalem?
All this is for the transgression of Jacob and the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what is the high place of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
Und ich will Samaria zum Steinhaufen im Felde machen, dass man ihre Steine um die Weinberge legt, und will ihre Steine ins Tal schleifen und sie bis zum Grund einbrechen.
Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of rubble in the open field, a planting area for a vineyard. I will pour her stones into the valley and expose her foundations.
Alle ihre Götzen sollen zerbrochen und all ihr Hurenlohn soll mit Feuer verbrannt werden; und ich will ihre Bilder verwüsten, denn sie sind von Hurenlohn zusammengebracht und sollen auch wieder Hurenlohn werden.
All her carved images will be smashed to pieces; all her wages will be burned in the fire, and I will destroy all her idols. Since she collected the wages of a prostitute, they will be used again on a prostitute.
Darüber muss ich klagen und heulen, ich muss beraubt und bloß dahergehen; ich muss klagen wie die Schakale und trauern wie die Strauße.
Because of this I will lament and wail; I will walk barefoot and naked. I will howl like a jackal (note: Or a serpent or a dragon) and mourn like an ostrich (note: Literally like daughters of an ostrich or like daughters of an owl).
Denn es ist kein Rat für ihre Plage, die bis gen Juda kommen und bis an meines Volkes Tor, bis Jerusalem hinanreichen wird.
For her wound is incurable; it has reached even Judah; it has approached the gate of my people, as far as Jerusalem itself.
Verkündigt's ja nicht zu Gath; lasst euer Weinen nicht hören zu Akko; in Beth-Leaphra setzt euch in die Asche.
Do not tell it in Gath (note: Gath sounds like the Hebrew for tell.); do not weep at all. Roll in the dust in Beth-leaphrah (note: Beth-leaphrah means house of dust.).
Du Einwohnerin Saphirs musst dahin mit allen Schanden; die Einwohnerin Zaenans wird nicht ausziehen; das Leid Beth-Haezels wird euch wehren, dass ihr da euch lagert.
Depart in shameful nakedness, O dwellers of Shaphir (note: Shaphir means pleasant.). The dwellers of Zaanan (note: Zaanan sounds like the Hebrew for come out.) will not come out. Beth-ezel (note: Beth-ezel means adjoining house.) is in mourning; its support is taken from you.
Die Einwohnerin Maroths vermag sich nicht zu trösten; denn es wird das Unglück vom Herrn kommen auch bis an das Tor Jerusalems.
For the dwellers of Maroth (note: Maroth sounds like the Hebrew for bitter.) pined for good, but calamity came down from the LORD, even to the gate of Jerusalem.
Du Stadt Lachis, spanne Renner an und fahre davon! denn du bist der Tochter Zion der Anfang zur Sünde, und in dir sind gefunden die Übertretungen Israels.
Harness your chariot horses, O dweller of Lachish (note: Lachish sounds like the Hebrew term for team of horses.). You were the beginning of sin to the Daughter of Zion, for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.
Du wirst dich müssen scheiden von Moreseth-Gath. Mit der Stadt Achsib wird's den Königen Israels fehlgehen.
Therefore, send farewell gifts (note: Or give dowry) to Moresheth-gath (note: Moresheth sounds like the Hebrew for gift or dowry.); the houses of Achzib (note: Achzib means deception.) will prove deceptive to the kings of Israel.
Ich will dir, Maresa, den rechten Erben bringen und die Herrlichkeit Israels soll kommen bis gen Adullam.
I will again bring a conqueror against you, O dweller of Mareshah (note: Mareshah sounds like the Hebrew for conqueror.). The glory of Israel will come to Adullam.
Lass die Haare abscheren und gehe kahl um deiner zarten Kinder willen; mache dich ganz kahl wie ein Adler, denn sie sind von dir gefangen weggeführt.
Shave yourselves bald and cut off your hair in mourning for your precious children; make yourselves as bald as an eagle, for they will go from you into exile.
