Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls (note: Heb. daughters of the owl).
Because of this I will lament and wail; I will walk barefoot and naked. I will howl like a jackal (note: Or a serpent or a dragon) and mourn like an ostrich (note: Literally like daughters of an ostrich or like daughters of an owl).
