Therefore shalt thou give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath; The houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing unto the kings of Israel.
Therefore, send farewell gifts (note: Or give dowry) to Moresheth-gath (note: Moresheth sounds like the Hebrew for gift or dowry.); the houses of Achzib (note: Achzib means deception.) will prove deceptive to the kings of Israel.
