Sei willfährig deinem Widersacher bald, dieweil du noch bei ihm auf dem Wege bist, auf dass dich der Widersacher nicht dermaleinst überantworte dem Richter, und der Richter überantworte dich dem Diener, und wirst in den Kerker geworfen.
Reconcile quickly with your adversary, while you are still on the way to court. Otherwise, he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.
