Βαπτισθεὶς δὲ, ὁ ˚Ἰησοῦς εὐθὺς ἀνέβη ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος· καὶ ἰδοὺ, ἀνεῴχθησαν οἱ οὐρανοί, καὶ εἶδεν τὸ ˚Πνεῦμα τοῦ ˚Θεοῦ καταβαῖνον ὡσεὶ περιστερὰν καὶ ἐρχόμενον ἐπʼ αὐτόν.
As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. Suddenly the heavens were opened (note: NA, BYZ, and TR the heavens were opened to Him), and He saw (note: Or and he saw; see John 1:32–33.) the Spirit of God descending like a dove and resting on Him.
