Ὁ γὰρ ˚Θεὸς ἐνετείλατο λέγων, ‘Τίμα τὸν πατέρα καὶ τὴν μητέρα’, καί, ‘Ὁ κακολογῶν πατέρα ἢ μητέρα, θανάτῳ τελευτάτω.’
For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother (note: Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16)’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death (note: Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9).’
