Παντὸς ἀκούοντος τὸν λόγον τῆς βασιλείας καὶ μὴ συνιέντος ἔρχεται ὁ πονηρὸς καὶ ἁρπάζει τὸ ἐσπαρμένον ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ παρὰ τὴν ὁδὸν σπαρείς
When anyone hears the message of the kingdom but does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown (note: Literally the one sown; also in verses 20, 22, and 23) in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
