Καὶ εἰσελθούσης τῆς θυγατρὸς αὐτοῦ Ἡρῳδιάδος, καὶ ὀρχησαμένης ἤρεσεν τῷ Ἡρῴδῃ καὶ τοῖς συνανακειμένοις. Ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς εἶπεν τῷ κορασίῳ, “Αἴτησόν με ὃ ἐὰν θέλῃς, καὶ δώσω σοι.”
