καὶ ἔσονται οἱ δύο εἰς σάρκα μίαν ὥστε οὐκέτι εἰσὶν δύο ἀλλὰ μία σάρξ
and the two will become one flesh (note: Genesis 2:24 (see also LXX)).’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
