Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεων καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ πλήρης λέπρας· καὶ ἰδὼν τὸν Ἰησοῦν, πεσὼν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐδεήθη αὐτοῦ λέγων· Κύριε, ἐὰν θέλῃς, δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.
While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy (note: Leprosy was a term used for various skin diseases. See Leviticus 13.). When he saw Jesus, he fell facedown and begged Him, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
