Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεων, καὶ ἰδοὺ, ἀνὴρ πλήρης λέπρας, ἰδὼν δὲ τὸν ˚Ἰησοῦν, πεσὼν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον, ἐδεήθη αὐτοῦ λέγων, “˚Κύριε, ἐὰν θέλῃς, δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.”
While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy (note: Leprosy was a term used for various skin diseases. See Leviticus 13.). When he saw Jesus, he fell facedown and begged Him, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
