Ἢ τίς γυνὴ δραχμὰς ἔχουσα δέκα ἐὰν ἀπολέσῃ δραχμὴν μίαν οὐχὶ ἅπτει λύχνον καὶ σαροῖ τὴν οἰκίαν καὶ ζητεῖ ἐπιμελῶς ἕως οὗ εὕρῃ
Or what woman who has ten silver coins (note: Greek ten drachmas, each worth about a day’s wages) and loses one of them does not light a lamp, sweep her house, and search carefully until she finds it?
