Ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ὅταν ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς ᾖ καὶ ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου φωτεινόν ἐστιν ἐπὰν δὲ πονηρὸς ᾖ καὶ τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτεινόν
Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good (note: Literally When your eye is sound; see Proverbs 22:9.), your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad (note: Literally when it is evil; see Proverbs 23:6 and Proverbs 28:22.), your body is full of darkness.
