אַ֤ךְ אֶת־ זֶה֙ לֹ֣א תֹֽאכְל֔וּ מִֽמַּעֲלֵי֙ הַגֵּרָ֔ה וּמִמַּפְרִיסֵ֖י הַפַּרְסָ֑ה אֶֽת־ הַ֠גָּמָל כִּֽי־ מַעֲלֵ֨ה גֵרָ֜ה ה֗וּא וּפַרְסָה֙ אֵינֶ֣נּוּ מַפְרִ֔יס טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃
But of those that only chew the cud or only have a divided hoof, you are not to eat the following (note: The precise identification of some of the birds and animals in this chapter is uncertain.): The camel, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you.
