GEMARA. [Does it mean that only] these blemished maidens get the fine, [but] unblemished ones [do] not?  — He means it thus: These are blemished maidens who get the fine:  IF ANYONE HAD INTERCOURSE WITH A MAMZERETH, A NETHINAH, A CUTHEAN,  etc. [Only] [the Mishnah states] a maiden [receives a fine],  [but not] a small girl.  Who is the Tanna [who taught this]? Rab Judah said in the name of Rab: It is R. Meir, for it has been taught:  A small child from the age of one day  until [the time that] she grows two hairs  sale applies to her,  but not the fine;  from [the time that] she grows two hairs until she becomes mature,  the fine applies to her, but not sale.  This is the view of R. Meir; for R. Meir said: Wherever sale applies,  the fine does not apply, and wherever the fine applies, sale does not apply. But the Sages say: A small child from the age of three years and one day until [the time that] she becomes mature — the fine applies to her.  [Does that mean] only the fine [and] not sale!  — Say:
